| Aktivitet | In 1940 the Grassland Improvement Station, was established and in 1949 renamed the Grassland Research Institute (GRI). In 1985, the GRI and the National Institute for Research in Dairying joined to form the Animal and Grassland Research Institute (AGRI). In 1987 Institute of Grassland and Animal Production was established by amalgamating the Welsh Plant Breeding Station (WPBS) and the AGRI and the poultry nutrition and production sections of the Roslin Institute. In 1990 the institute was renamed the Institute of Grassland and Environmental Research. |
