Aktivitet | Ornithologist; taught biology at Dartington Hall School from 1933-Dec 1940. His pupils helped him with the research carried out at Dartington for his famous book, 'The Life of the Robin', which was one of the first full monographs of a single species and is still the definitive book on the subject. He later became the Director of the Sir Edward Grey Institute of Ornithology at Oxford. Lack and Leonard Elmhirst spent many happy hours together as Leonard Elmhirst was a passionate amateur ornithologist. |
