| Aktivitet | Arts Administrator, Dartington Hall, 1934-1944 - came to Dartington in 1934 as the first Administrator of the Arts Department. He was highly successful in drawing to Dartington distinguished actors, artists and musicians to both work and teach. When he died in 1944, Dorothy and Leonard Elmhirst commissioned a work from the sculptor Henry Moore as a tribute to him and Moore's reclining 'Memorial Figure' stands at the top of the terraces in the Hall gardens.
