Aktivitet | First editor of the 'New Republic' (1913-1930), the journal of liberal politics founded by Dorothy, her first husband, Willard Straight and Croly. Until she left for England in 1925, Dorothy took an active interest but would have no editorial influence in 'The New Republic' and she continued to provide funds for it until it was sold in 1953.
