| Beskrivelse | Leonard Elmhirst's letters to members of his family continue whilst travelling with Rabindranath Tagore to Tokyo where they part. The letters continue en route and on the Canadian Pacific Railway, and are also written from Old Westbury (Long Island), Ithaca (NY), London and Paris. At the latter he is apparently reunited with Tagore and letters continue en route and from Buenos Aires. Correspondence in late 1924 contains reference to his intention to marry and find a place in the South of England, mentioning Devon. |
