| Aktivitet | Came to Dartington in 1926 to work in the Private House as housemaid, then promoted to head housemaid. Emily was close to Dorothy, she was her personal maid until Dorothy's death, she played a vital part inthe running of the house. She was a gifted and expert flower arranger, a skill she taught to Ruth and many others, and until her death in 1979 the Private House, offices and the Great Hall were all enhanced by her creations. |
