| Activity | Gerald Heard founded the Trabuco College of Prayer in 1942 in the Santa Ana mountains, near Los Angeles, USA.The purpose of the college was to provide a place for prayer and the study of Eastern and Western mysticism. The property was passed to the Vedanta Society and rededicated as the Ramakrishna Monastery in 1949. |
