| Activity | Youth employment training work linked to the work of Dartington Hall School, and a Dartington Hall Trust initiation, Work Experience Programme funded by the Manpower Services Commission. Originally based at Gardens Hostel and moved to the Old Postern in 1979. Ceased to be a part of the Dartington Hall Trust in 1982 when it became an independent activity as Action Consultant Training under Roy Robinson.
The early work experience programme started in 1976. The Manpower Services Commission ended the work experience courses and replaced the Postern Programme with a Youth Training Scheme specifically for school leavers. This broke the link with dartington Hall School, and provided the groundwork for the creation of Dartington Tech.
