Activity | Actor, trained with Michael Chekhov at Dartington Hall and in America. He went with the Studio when it moved to the U.S. in 1938. He played leading roles with the Chekhov Theatre Players and together with Beatrice, was artistic director for the company when on tour. After the war he became a coach for Warner Brothers and taught in his own studio in Hollywood, later joining the Michael Chekhov Studio which Beatrice established in New York. Also recorded death of 1985. |
