| Activity | Originally started as the Cine Group and developed into the Dartington Hall Film Unit making scientific and educational films for schools. From 1939, with the support of the Dartington Hall trustees, its purpose was to make films of educational, scientific and cultural value. During the 1940s Dartington also housed the film library for the south-west for the Ministry of Information. The Film Unit closed in 1949. |
