| Activity | Associated with the Institute of Community Studies, London for 17 years and then the Centre for Environmental Studies, London, before joining the Urban Planning Program at the University of California, Los Angeles, from 1976 to 1991. He has taught at several universities in the United States including Yale, where (2004) he is a lecturer in the Department of Sociology. His books include African Entrepreneurs (1971); Family and Social Change in an African City (1962). |
