Finally, a programme for Chekhov's performance of Anton Chekhov sketches with the Moscow Art Theatre in Philadelphia, April 1935, with annotations suggesting that it led Beatrice Straight to take Leonard and Dorothy Elmhirst to see Chekhov and later invite him to Dartington. |
