Includes cards from Fritz and Elsa Cohen (both Ballets Jooss- Fritz-musical director, Elsa was one of the dancers), Hein and Nandi (Hein and Ada's daughter) Heckroth (Ballets Jooss set designer and artist), Mr and Mrs Compton (parents of Binnie Straight and Bonte Duran), Michael Chekhov, Angna Enters (Dance-mime pioneer), Daisy Harriman- American Ambassador to Norway, Reg and Anna Turvey (artist friend of Bernard Leach), Serge Chermayeff and family (Serge-architect, photograph on card of Modernist House); Walter Gropius (architect-photograph of Modernist house in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA), Jim Ede (photograph of Modernist House-Whitestone, Tangier), Albert and Frances Mansbridge (card annotated by Leonard Elmhirst - 'founder of WEA-Workers Educational Association, c1910. Retired to Paignton and introduced Leonard Elmhirst to AE Malbon in Welwyn, 1929. Outcome - Staverton Contractors.'), John Maxton (Institute of Agrarian Affairs- Agricultural Economics), Cissy (became Mrs. Hans Oppenheim) and Peter Ebert (Dartington Film Unit, later second clerk to the South West Film Council Library); Christine (nee Prasanno Nath) and Prem Chand Lal and family, Beatrix and Max Farrand (landscape garden designer), Mark Tobey (artist-card not his own work), members of Ballets Jooss, William and Mary Lescaze, Willi Soukop, David Leach (Claire Leighton engraving), Ellen van Volkenburg, Xenia Chekhov (wife of Michael Chekhov), photograph of Beatrice Straight and Uday Shankar (Indian dancer); Max Rostal and family (card annotated by Leonard Elmhirst,' Max taught (music) at Dartington Hall for (Hans) Oppenheim,' - Dartington College of Arts); Ernest Isherwood (brother of Margaret), Walter and Mrs. Nash (New Zealand Prime Minster and friend of PEP); Alice and Vincent Massy (Governor General of Canada). There are fifteen photographs stuck on to cards in this album.
