It also contains correspondence relating to purchases of garden items from T Crowther & Son (Dartington Hall Trust Collection); letter from Leonard Elmhirst re a scheme for agricultural and horticultural training (27 Jun 1945); correspondence with Dorothy Elmhirst relating to Dartington Cottage Garden Show Society; letters re first September gardening course (1950) and that of 1965; correspondence re visits by the Garden Club of America, and with horticultural societies. There is correspondence with Victor Bonham-Carter about writing the first garden pamphlet with Dorothy Elmhirst's involvement, and an early draft (1960). There is also a sketch illustrating the engraving for the statue 'Flora' and an item by Dorothy Elmhirst for the Dartington Hall News about the siting of 'Flora' (dht1006) together with a poem, 'Two Ladies in the Evening', by Pat Kitto. Included in the folder is a brochure, 'Tropical Blossoms of the Caribbean' by Dorothy and Bob Hargreaves (1960).
