Description15 letters from Leonard, two letters from Dorothy, and two poems. Leonard writes from Barnsley, Cambridge, and London, while preparing for his mission to India. He discusses current affairs, international politics, trade, and India, and mentions a meeting with William Rothenstein discussing Tagore and the English translations of Tagore's books. Letters from Leonard, 19-22 Oct 1921, mention meetings with Lord Robert Cecil discussing the progress of the League of Nations disarmament conference (Washington Conference), and other visits with British and Indian officials and scholars in London and Cambridge. Letters dated 23-26 Oct 1921 are posted from Dover and Marseilles. Dorothy's letter of 24 Oct 1921 encloses two poems and discusses her course in educational psychology with John Dewey at Teacher's College, Columbia. Leonard's last letters are postmarked Port Said.
