| Description | The folder contains correspondence with Dora Wollner (Steinhardt) she eventually changed her married name to Lanir, writing from a farm settlement at Moledeth, Affuleh, Palestine/Israel. The letters include references to life at the settlement: climate, agriculture and education; Professor Lowdermilk; and the political situation. Family photographs of her children are included. Leonard Elmhirst visited the settlement briefly in 1952; she visited Dartington Hall in 1958. There is a short letter from C D S Bartlett who stayed at the settlement in 1959. |
