| Description | The Arts and the Adolescent project arose from a desire to examine the state of arts education in secondary education. The project produced an interim report, 'The Arts and the Adolescent', by Malcolm Ross and Robert Witkin, (University of Exeter, Nov 1970). Research methodology included surveys of arts teachers and pupils. A copy of the interim report is included in the file. The project was directed by Peter Cox and organised by Malcolm Ross at the Institute of Education, University of Exeter. The project was also associated with the Schools Council Curriculum Study. |
