Material includes: a printed pamphlet by the Scottish Land and Property Federation 'Notes for Members'; a printed leaflet for the HGTMA; a draft of 'Model Rules for Branches'; memoranda including, 'Memorandum on the objects of, and the methods of approach to, a system of recording prices paid for Standing Timber', 'Abstract of the discussion on the work of Branches', 'Poles for Coronation Decorations', 'Pit Timber', 'War Emergency Timber Sales', 'Hedgerow Timber', 'Regional Committees', and a memorandum to the Central Landowners' Association; a list of Landowners; a draft letter to Area and County secretaries; notes including notes on the South Devon Woodland Owners' Association, a Conference between delegates of the HGTMA and the Home Grown Pit wood Section of the Timber Trade, and notes regarding the prices and markets for timber; an annual report regarding the 'Utilization of Home Grown Timber'; a copy of a paper based on a paper by Wilfred E Hiley read before the British Association 'The Home Grown Timber Marketing Association'; and a reprinted article 'Home Grown Timber Some Considerations on policy'.
