Aktivitet | Started by Victor Bonham-Carter in about 1951. The Archive was first known as the Records Office, and consisted of the official records of the Dartington Hall Trust and records of Dartington Hall Ltd. In the mid 1950s V B-C began working on Leonard's personal papers. Victor worked with assistant records officer Robin Johnson and book-binder, Eric McNally. Robin Johnson took over the management of the records office until his retirement in the mid 1980s when Mary Bride Nicholson took over responsibility for the Records Office. Maggie Giraud became curator and records officer in the early 1990s and n 1995 , High Cross House, designed by William Lescaze, was renovated and opened to the public, not only as a house but as a showcase for the Trust's art collections and a home for the Trust's archive. Maggie Giraud was followed by Hillary Williams as Curator and Archivist, and in 2000 by Angie St.John Palmer as General Manager. |
