Beskrivelse | This folder contains correspondence detailing the donation of Leonard Elmhirst's International Conference of Agricultural Economists records, and his Agricultural Economics records to the Institute of Agricultural History, University of Reading. Subjects include: the possibility of Dartington House taking over from Dartington Hall all the material of Leonard Elmhirst's Agricultural Economics papers, including all the International Conference of Agricultural Economists papers; the future of Dartington House and the possible amalgamation with Queen Elizabeth House; John Maxton's papers being centralised within Oxford; the possibility of housing Leonard's records in the Bodlian Library, Oxford, where the International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) are housed; and the eventual decision and transfer of 54 boxes of Leonard's records to Reading under the direction of Dr E J T Collins.
