Subjects include: a bid for the Bureau of Agricultural Economics from the Government of India; an official decision to set up a permanent Bureau of Agricultural Economics to date from 1 Apr 1966; the location of the office for the World Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology Abstracts; creating space for a main central library and the possible sale of all their properties fronting on to St Giles' in order to make possible the erection of a building on the rear half of their site, to provide accommodation sufficient for the housing of the three institutes in Oxford, now engaged in research into agricultural economics.
