Leonard's lecture content is contained in a 'Record of a Conference Between Leonard K Elmhirst, English Economist, and a Group of Extension Economists and Others, Washington DC, 16 Apr 1941.' This talk is subsequently criticized by Minister of Agriculture R S Hudson as demeaning to British farmers.
