ActivityOriginally the Royal Scottish Aboricultural Society, founded by arboriculturalists, foresters, nurseymen, landowners, and enthusiasts. The Society is concerned that the management of Scotland's trees was being sorely neglected, decided that they would try to influence the Government and society at large to improve matters. The Society played a prominent part in the creation of the Forestry Commission in 1919. The Society publish a journal, Scottish Forestry.
