| Activity | Daphne, the daughter of the Earl and Countess of Winchilsea and Nottingham, married Dorothy's eldest son Whitney Straight in 1935. A large number of staff from Dartington Hall attended their 'society' wedding at St. Margaret's Westminster. Daphne and Whitney had two daughters; Camilla born in 1936 and Amanda born in 1952. After Whitney's death in 1979, Daphne sold their large house at Osterley on the outskirts of London and moved to central London to live. |
