Aktivitet | Small alternative school founded by Cuthbert Rutter in the New Forest in 1930. The School moved to Whitwell Hall, Reepham, Norfolk, until its buildings were requisitioned in 1940. Forest School was subsequently evacuated to Dartington Hall where it co-existed during World War II with Dartington Hall School, partly at the expense of the Trustees of Dartington Hall. Forest School staff established the better known Forest School Camps after World War II. |
