Beskrivelse | Papers of Dr Royston Lambert, headmaster of Dartington Hall School, 1968-1973. Also, papers documenting the administration of the School during Lambert's short but prolific tenure. Includes correspondence with Lambert and letters about him exchanged between the Dartington Hall Trustees. Records also include information about Lambert's prior work for the King's College Social Research Unit studying boarding schools, a four-year investigation funded by the Public Schools Commission. Dartington Hall School was surveyed as part of this investigation in 1967.
Records of all of Lambert's initiatives have survived. Materials include Trust administrative records (particularly those of Maurice Ash and Christopher Zealley), headmaster's correspondence, and extensive records of projects in Sicily and Yorkshire.
There are also records of a research project undertaken by sociologist Maurice Punch studying Dartington Hall School leavers. |
