Activity | Actor and impresario, poet and writer, theatrical producer, Browne started the Little Theatre movement in America in 1912 with their Chicago Little Theatre. They first met Dorothy and Leonard in 1927. Shortly after their meeting, Browne discovered a play by the unknown writer RC Sherriff and with the enthusiastic financial backing of Dorothy and Leonard, Browne produced 'Journey's End' in London. It was an international smash hit and became a classic, losing none of its impact over the years. |
