Description | Correspondence with Dr Dhiren Sen, a psychologist in London, later involved with rural education (Siksha Satra) efforts at Santiniketan. Sen's work in Sriniketan was funded by Leonard Elmhirst, also includes letters from others associated with Visva-Bharati including Prem Chand Lal, Khalimohan Ghosh, and Dhirananda Roy. From the 1942, Sen worked at the Indian government Department of Education. Later letters discuss events at Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. There are also drafts of two short essays by Prem Chand Lal discussing the history of Visva-Bharati; and also the social extremes of life in an Indian city. |
