Description | This series consists of records accumulated by Leonard Elmhirst regarding the land, and includes: agricultural economics research; rural regeneration; the development of industry in rural areas; experiments, employment, training courses, and research work at Dartington Hall; and proposals developing the concept of a land trust. The records detail Leonard's active involvement in, theoretical and practical advice to, and financial support of various associations, institutions, societies, universities, and individual scholars studying agriculture and rural regeneration.
